    There's the fixed link.

Wonder how she was feeling as she made the decision to keep riding the bike and take it back. I once was given $300 in the drive thru at the bank, for a $30 check I had cashed. I realized it a few blocks away and I couldn't drive back fast enough, feeling like I had stolen something, even though I hadn't. I'd imagine if I were in this scenario, my heart would have been pounding!

Glad she got her bike back though!

A friend of mine had a similar story. He saw a guy on his stolen bike (near where it was stolen, a few days after the fact) and he predicted the route the guy was taking and confronted him. The guy gave up the bike and told him that he'd "gotten it from a friend."

Wow. Glad she got away with it.

When I was in my 20s, I once chased down some kids who'd stolen a parcel from our rooming house's foyer/mail area. But that was heat of the moment. Doing it premeditated is a whole 'nother thing. Scary.

I'm glad the woman retrieved her bike from the thief...however, in the article it does state that the bike was UNLOCKED. Why would anyone leave a bike unlocked in front of a bar (or anyplace for that matter)??? Geez, around here...I'd be surprised if an unlocked bike wasn't stolen.
