I haven't ridden my bike in about a month???

But I have today off... and we aren't traveling till tonight... so... I have decided to hit the paved city trail we have! I will get about 25 miles in!

I'm in Dallas, TX... and it's going to be around 70F... just waiting for my clothes to finish up... then going to hit the trail!

Enjoy your warm ride! We got our first snow this morning and I'm back to babysitting my handsome Grandsons! I'm trying to at least spin since I can't get to ride lately.
Don't think of it as getting hot flashes. Think of it as your inner child playing with matches

Good for you! Yeah, I'm hoping it warms up enough this morning. I know it' sort of wimpy to the northern girls, but I won't ride today until it's above 50 degrees. It's supposed to be fun and I don't like being cold.

I have a hair appointment at 12:15. It kind of stinks that it's in the middle of the day. But I'm hoping to beat the traffic coming home. So I can get in a ride this afternoon if not this morning. Plus it's kind of fun hanging out in my jammies - being lazy.

Sounds like HEAVEN. Lucky girl, warm weather.

We got an "early release" from work, so I was home & out on my bike by 1pm. It was wicked windy and cold here, but I didn't get chilled until the last half hour or so. The one benefit of this kind of weather is that I pretty much have the trail to myself. Of course, you can't really "hammer" it because the wind is so strong that it feels like you're crawling. The final indignity---it was so windy on the nice downhills that I had to work and couldn't really fly!! Oh well. I'll take that over snowy/icy pavement any day.

Wow... you ladies up North are making me feel LUCKY to be here! Seriously... it is HOT here! Around 78F. I wore my sleeveless jersey even!

It was great too! I haven't ridden in about a month... and it was so much fun getting to go!

Northen ladies... enjoy your "excuse" (freezing cold weather) to stay inside and snuggle on the couch!
