    Bike Fitting

    Hello,
I just found this group while doing a search for women cyclists in the southeastern mass. area.

I'm looking for a nice friendly group to ride with. I am very busy while attending college and my courses are intense so I don't get to ride every weekend. I am still recovering from a crash I had on Sept. 3rd and my hand is still healing (was fractured).

While I was riding someone noticed my seat was not positioned properly and also noticed my pedals were not centered. Anyone know where I can get a good professional bike fitting? I'm also looking for a group to ride with that is more compatible with my schedule.

    Thanks,

    Laura

    Hi Laura,
Try posting over in the "Places to Ride" forum (Northeast subforum). They should be able to give you groups and shops that will do fittings.
Sorry about your crash--heal up quick!

While I was in college (when I started riding), I usually rode by myself, since I was too slow to keep up with the guys in the university's cycling club. I still mostly ride by myself, and I prefer it that way.
At least I don't leave slime trails.

Thanks! Me too, I normally ride "solo" but every once in a while I like to have some company to see how I'm holding up to other riders. Thanks for the tip!
