    Ouch! Crash

Have you ever had a period of time when you just seemed to such at riding? Two weeks ago I crashed twice on a very untechnical part of the trail. Basically my bike just washed out under me and I hurt me knee. It took about a week before it felt normal again. Then, I went out last saturday and lost it on a very untechnical down hill. No idea why, my skills just seemed to have dropped. Anyway, I had a hard landing and had to leave the trail early because my back was killing me. Today, I'm heading off to the dr because I can hardly walk (I think I twisted my back or something) and am in serious pain. Have you girls ever had those moments where it feels like you're riding the way you did when you first started? Maybe a little time off from the mtb was needed, well, now I have it!

Also, has anyone ever pulled something in their back? How long was the recovery?

    Heal up!

On our first trip last summer, I fell so much on the second day, I just totally lost confidence in myself and started walking anything that looked like I might crash on it. It was frustrating and annoying, but I knew my head wasn't in it anymore. I think so much of mountain biking is mental.

    Anyway... get better real quick!
