    Cellulitis Infection

Hello. I have been under treatment by my doc for cellulitis. Essentially one of the callused areas where my seat contacts my saddle became infected. It is hard and mildly painful. I have been cleared to ride but my doc tells me it will be hard and painful for several more days. I am wondering if others have experienced this and what you did against the pain. Thanks.

My mom has had a spot on her leg for over a year that won't heal. It's nothing to play with. Keep it clean and follow your doc's orders to a tee. I hope you heal quickly!!

Several years ago I got stung by something on a ride and didn't think too much about it and continued to ride. Well my thigh over the course of a few days got very swollen, hot, and red. I had to go to the ER for IV antibiotics. The swelling and pain lasted a week or two. I stayed off the bike for that time period.
