Discovered new bike path today (pics)

Ventured down to the other end of the local bike path today, as I have been biking only the 4-5 miles of it that runs through town (I'm still painfully out of shape). Decided to park on other side of the path and check out the extension, which is eventually going to be paved to connect to the next town and further, and the little off-shoots by the estuaries. Such beautiful scenery and a beautiful day... nice reward! Also made me glad I have kept my mtb as there are some multiuse dirt roads there as well. I would say I have found my new place to bike!

Awesome! I would guess that for many cyclists, exploring and discovering new places are all part of the fun.

Crankin, this is in Fairhaven. It's only about 4 miles one way, but now they are extending it into Mattapoisett. Eventually it's supposed to connect to the Cape Cod path.

That's beautiful! I get all excited about newly-discovered paths, especially ones with no-one else on them.
