this has been on my list for a long time.

I'm off to the dojo today, winter training ya' know, next Sunday brunch with friends in honor of my 10 years at my wonderful (ahem, cough) job, maybe 12th or 19th if this weather holds?

Hey Cindy! Glad you had a great ride! My butt hasn't met the saddle for weeks, now. Basically not since school and soccer started.

How was riding across the GGB? I've always wanted to but have also heard that it's kind of a white-knuckle ride because of the varying rates of speed.

it was my first time and it was great. bikes and pedestrians are segregated enough from traffic (and each other!) that it didn't bother me. Plus you are more concerned with other bicyclists than with cars!

Gosh it is too bad that you won't be able to join us for Mt. Ham (or at least part of it) since it is close to home for you, but we'll be thinking of you while you're singing happy birthday to the little one
    Cheers!
