Bike rental in Chapel Hill/Carrboro?

Hi ladies!

I am headed to Chapel Hill/Carrboro for 3.5 weeks starting in mid-July for an intensive yoga certification course.

In keeping with my desire to use clean energy, I want to rent a bike for my 4-mile commute from my accommodation to the yoga studio where I'll be learning and yoga-ing each day!

Does anyone in the community live in the area and either 1) know of a place I could rent (or even buy!) a good-quality, safe bike to use during my stay, or 2) have an extra bike they could lend me while I am there?

The only bike rental I found was $150/wk, which seems a little high since I could buy a used bike for less.

You might try the Bicycle Chain on Franklin Street or Clean Machine in Carrboro.

Keep in mind, too, that the busses in CH/Carrboro are free. I'd rather ride a bike, but it's nice to know the busses are free.
