    Great bike fitting

Yesterday I went to Moment Cycle Sport, and got the best bike fit I ever had. They use a Guru machine (see it here) http://momentcyclesport.com/articles...ation-pg64.htm
What was so great about it was this machine changes everything at the press of a button and while you are pedaling. You get a printout of your optimized settings, to use on any bike. The fitter was a very knowledgeable tri person. It lasted for 2 and a half hours and made a big difference. Everything from spacers to cleats had to be fixed. I even needed wedges in my shoes and a spacer on my right pedal (had 2 surgeries in knee) so it doesn't track correctly. Went for a 20 mile ride today and all I can say is WOW, what a difference!!!!
I did my usual route and did it 4 mph faster and was not so tired at the end. I have had other bike fits done, but this one actually gave me more comfort and power. I am even excited to ride with my husband this weekend, maybe I will be able to keep up with him more. If you live in San Diego, this is the place to go !!!

Muirenn, definitely do it. The cost is high, but you can go back for a refit on that bike for life.

The cost of the fitting was $200.00. If you decide to purchase a new bike from them within 6 months, they Put that $200.00 toward the price of the bike.

$200 is not bad, not that much more than what people get charged when I do a bike fit, and I don't have a sexy morphing bicycle machine...

There is a shop called Get A Grip in the city (Chicago) that does Guru bike fits. I also think $200 isn't bad...I paid a LOT more than that for my Retul fit, and I'm still having some issues.
