I'm jealous...him invited to Taiwan

Dearie's invited to speak on matters related to cycling...at a bike tourism conference in Taiwan.

From looking at the agenda, they will treat him graciously as a honoured guest.

He's never been to Asia yet. I really think he's treating it like an intensive version of Chinatown or something.
And neither have I. (it doesn't look like for awhile, finance wise either).

My half-joke with him is after all the meals, he might have problems on the bike.. when we go over to Vancouver Island.

Oh, that's too bad. It must be frustrating to have to miss all these amazing trips he takes. I rarely get to travel, either.

Don't think he's going to get much free time on his own.

In retrospect, I'm glad to have been to the various places for leisure/vacation. But I'm certain compared to many folks here, I'm not that well-travelled.

Asia isn't that expensive once you sort out the flights.

June Holidays are coming and this year I'll be staying close to home.

Hmm...my life has changed considerably in that I now have a mortgage to pay and family plane flights to make this year later.

But deeiamond I will keep in Singapore in mind --life is full of twists and turns!
