    Ibex Pingo Jacket

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I purchased this at REI, just have not been wearing it. So it needs a home!
$90 plus shipping. I believe it is a Pingo, or one like it. Its a size medium, light wool on the inside, shell on the outside. Very well made. Rust colored. It says on the tag inside "Climawool softshell."

Its a great all around jacket, just enough to throw over a top for that extra warmth on a cool day!

I have one of these jackets (XL) and can attest to what a good jacket it is.

Great on the bike, sweat evaporates right through the shell so you never get clammy. Rain rolls off it if you keep up on the water-repellant. (mine is well worn, and I need to spray it again before the winter rainy season).

The styling is quite sleek and sexy, and the pockets just disappear into the over-all appearance of sleekness. (not much of me could be described as "sleek and sexy," but when I wear this jacket - watch out!)

It looks very cosmopolitan with a flowy scarf, very classy for going out.

If it was a small or xs I'd go for it...such a pretty color! Every time I see this post it's another reminder to go drool over their website.

How big of a medium is it? I ususually wear a small on top, but I'm often in between sizes in athletic wear, and the only Ibex stuff I have are bras (in as size small). If it's a small medium, I mgiht be interested.

If I may chime in: I wear large tops in EVERYTHING Ibex, except for the Pingo jacket. Mine's an XL.

It runs small, in my experience.

Buy one size up from what you usually wear in Ibex, and you should be fine.

I agree with Knott- size up. I normally wear a small in most outerwear, but the Pingo vest I tried on was a medium (by necessity!).

I don't have this jacket, but I'll chime in that my Europa jacket is a size larger than all my Balance, Zepher, and Woolies base/middle layers. I got it as a gift and had to exchange it for a larger size.
