I can figure some of the acronyms out--dh--dear husband or d--head. But is there someplace to go to find out what the rest of them mean? What's lol? I know lbs is local bike shop. HELP!!!!

Can anyone tell me HOW it is that SPD = clipless pedals? The others are pretty obvious.

SPD = Shimano Pedalling Dynamics and is a trademark.

I think it is a Shimano trademark again. Like Ergo is Campy's. Gripshift is SRAM's. Not sure what SRAM is using for their new trigger stuff.
BTW, I saw that the new X.O mtb shifters have a lot of adjustability. Might be nice for small hands. Have you and anyone seen them?Frends know gud humors when dey is hear it. ~ Da Crockydiles of ZZE.
