I saw the news this morning and was tremendously saddened by the death toll from the tornadoes last night.
I hope any and all TE'ers are OK in that part of the country.
Living in Tornado Alley, I know that it could just as easily have been any one of us hit by those storms. The video footage and pictures are just devastating. The loss of life is staggering.
If you live down there, report in and let us know you're OK.

Hugs to all of you in the SE!

++1 here too. When I saw the headline on the net this morning I thought of our TE friends and said a quick prayer for all of you.

I'm in NC. We got those lines of storms this evening. We're fine here. Mostly we just got rain, but I know other areas of NC got hit much harder. We got almost no rain, just tons of wind, oh and a little thunder and lightening.

I'm West of Koronin, and thankfully we were spared any damage. It's been scary this year - lots more storms - and much more severe than we usually get.

    Hoping all others are well!

Many thoughts and prayers to all the people in the tornado damaged areas. It's been a frightening spring.

Oh my goodness, I generally avoid watching the news but just caught a glimpse of the devastation of Alabama!

I so hope anybody on our site who might live in that area is safe.

Life is so upside down, one side of the world there are amazing celebrations, while the other side, total devastation!

My thoughts go out to all.

Areas just north of Atlanta were hit. I rode a loop yesterday that crossed the path of the tornado twice. I've never seen devastation up close like that. Half of my boss' neighborhood was destroyed - his house is bad, but still standing.
For 3 days, I get to part of a thousand other journeys.
