Timex Ironman vs...??? for Simple Inexpensive Distance Monitoring

Anyone have any experience with this model? It's the Timex Sleek 150, with the touch tap face. I would love to know in particular, if it records distance. I want to know not so much about laps, but mileage. I know the garmins and maybe the polars do that, but aesthetically and size wise, i prefer this sleek little guy. Any thoughts?
