    Smile Happy easter

Just wanted to wish everybody a happy Easter break.

Over here in the UK it’s an added bonus as we have got Friday 29 April as a Bank Holiday, due to the Royal Wedding (the Royal’s do have some uses)! Kind of them as it’s my birthday too.

    Anybody up to anything?

Sheeeeeesh, I have always been a little over weight but once you hit 60 it’s even harder to shift the weight. So, determined to get out in the beautiful weather we are having, yesterday got out in our inflatable canoe, something I have not been able to do for about 18 months and it was fabulous, talk about a way of de-stressing.

Now about to go off on our bikes, so let’s burn some calories.

    Whatever you do, enjoy yourselves.

And to you too! How wonderful having a Bank Holiday to celebrate your birthday You had a great day to canoe too, it must have been beautiful in your part of the country.

We've had a great weekend, very lazy but a lot of playing in the garden with Small Girl and a paddling pool, and working on the blanket that I'm crocheting. Mr Hebe has been doing some truly excellent cooking, I have been very spoilt. It's a little cooler today and I may get out on the bike.

    Anzac

We down here in Australia have a very long weekend...Friday to Wednesday..

Tomorrow's ANZAC Day & tuesday's the public holiday for Easter/ANZAC day.

We've just been doing some dirt n stuff. It actually "rained" here in Perth.... .4mm of rain today. Stuff all if you think about how long we've gone without a serious bout of rain. Our dams are pretty low & the rain we do get doesn't do much...

    Happy Easter, y'all!

On Friday, the tornado warning sirens went off just as the Good Friday liturgy started; we all had to evacuate down to the undercroft and wait it out. Saturday night, early in the vigil while the church was very dark, lightening was flashing and crashing outside. But today, it wasn't storming! Rain, sure, but that's it. So I biked to church, in the rain. Perfect excuse to not wear a dress...

Hope those who need rain will get it on this holiday, and those of us who have had more than enough will dry out a bit!

Hey, I like your weekend in Australia! And I wish I could send you some rain. It's rained every day since Tuesday with severe storms every day but yesterday and it's supposed to continue until this Thursday with more severe weather today. Now they are predicting record floods from all the rain. I haven't been on my bike in a week because of the rain.
