Anyone have experience with Time Atac Z pedals? My feet appreciate having more supporting surface than just the small cleat surface, and Shimano's 4 offerings in the dual sided clipless pedals with a platform "cage" on both sides make it appear as if the platform cage could possibly interfere with clipping in. They sell these as their "off-road sport" pedals.
My fitter strongly feels that I need to stick with either Shimano or Time pedals - I will discuss this further with him but would like to know of others experience with Time pedals. Is the spring as adjustable as SPD pedals? I don't want something that would be more difficult to get in/out of. If I AM going to change clipless systems, and I do not know that I will, it needs to be NOW, before I start getting clipless pedals for my Gunnar and, eventually, the Jamis.
