    Why I love TE

Last night I was browsing the new stuff and saw the Illuminite glove. It's dark by the time I get home when I ride out to meet Thom and I'd like to have gloves that maybe a driver can see when I signal. So these looked pretty cool.

I emailed Jeff with some questions and here's his response.

    Hi There,

Does this glove really show up as well in the dark as the picture makes
it look? That's cool if it does!

How do I measure my hand for sizing?

    Thanks!

    Veronica

    Hi Veronica,

Yes, it does show up as illustrated, but only if the light source is close
to the viewer's eyes. I just tried it out and from across a dark room the
effect is very prominent with a (dim, LED) headlight held between your eyes,
but barely visible when the light is held at chest level. The farther away
the viewer is, the more distance can separate the light from the viewer's
eyes while still achieving the same effect.

We weren't able to get a glove sizing chart from Illuminite, but I had
someone here with a 7-inch hand circumference try on the size S/M and it fit
her well. I have a 7.5" hand and it fit me ok but the fingers were a bit
    short...

    Thanks,
    Jeff

Now how cool is that. Experimenting with the product to help out your customers.

Now I gotta go buy something.

I think thats impressive and I already love TE. Ive been having a bit of a splurge of late on winter gear. Now all I have to do is slowly start wearing each new piece when I ride and my husband will not suffer heart failure.

I love how I can hear an accent in what you write sometimes.

You gotta come to one of our rides soon.

    Thanks V thats really nice.

I will definitely try - just need that blasted husband to get back in the country and I will be right. Just not enough room on the handle bars for all three little boys.

can ya tie them behind??....maybe hang them like panniers??.....look at it as strength training??

and V I have the IllumiNITE leg warmers and I just ordered a jacket. All I can say is: when the night light hits the leg warmers at night the whole room lights up! lol they look like warmers made from a 70s disco ball! I'd say order the gloves - I think you'll be surprised.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"
