    Talking My FIRST Race

    Hi Ladies!
First let me just say that this is the COOLEST site on the web with great info!

I want it to be known that I am registered for my 1st ever Triathlon-June 7th. I am training with a coach to improve my cyling and running. ( I'm just going to pray for my swimming )! This triathlon will be a celebration and a marker for me in that I overcame a lot of personal junk this past year.

ANY tips, advice, jokes, whatever anyone wants to share, I want to hear it. I am very competitive and to some of my "friends" at a local triathlon chapter I say, "Bring It!"

go out there and kick ***!!! let us know how it goes. i have volunteered at a few triathlons and the water support on the swim is great. so if you get tired, you can just hang over the side of the boat until you are ready to continue.

keep the faith, and good luck

Good luck! I will be thinking of you. Just wait till you cross that finish line, what a great feeling!
I have a friend who lives outside of Atlanta, I know that she has started her own Tri club.
Anyway, you have picked an excellant way to celebrate survival!

First of all...good luck and have fun.
    Do you really want advice???

    Don't forget to eat/drink.

Do your bricks and practice your transitions.
