Well, this is the baby I've been trying to launch and not totally done: Official blog for Velo-city Global 2012 Cycling Conference in Vancouver, BC

There's a little, short video --which shows Vancouver's separated bike lanes close to home (well, my 2nd home) and other scenery. Dearie is in video (yellow jacket) for 20 sec. cycling in snow.

And respond our survey on cycling infrastructure. See yellow survey button right hand side of web site main pg. It's anonymous. We'll be summarizing survey results on blog.

Believe me, it's been abit wierd last few weeks. He's still in Spain. The 2011 Seville conference has just ended. But he's joining up on their ciclovia tomorrow...a car-free, mass cycling, pedestrian celebration event.

Unbelievable, but at Seville where the 2012 Vancouver conference team had their info., table last few days with other exhibitors, they had lots of people dropping by.
Asking all sorts of route questions, tourist stuff while on bike. They wanted also the freebie Canadian beaver pins with tiny flag.

So it ain't only the conference that will be the draw. Yes, there will be some side events.

So wee more stuff over time on blog, to answer those questions. Some of the fluffy stuff. I guess visitors from outside North America need short-cut accesss to cycling info. and inside knowledge from locals.
