Yes, another new bike: A "blue ruby"

I finally decided that the Specialized Ruby Comp was the new bike for me. I paid on Saturday and had the fitting on Monday.

The first two rides were good but the saddle didn't work for me. Now that I've swapped out the Lithia for my old Jett saddle, I am very, very happy.

She's light, she rolls so smoothly compared to the Fuji- just coasting on the rollers on my ride at Saguaro NP today was much faster! My DH, who could not ride because he is still nursing his injured shoulder, agreed to follow me around and get some pics of us - poor guy he's envious of the bike AND me being able to ride.

You can see the very cool, matte finish blue of the frame a little better in the close up.

azfiddle - she's a beauty. May the road rise up to meet you and the wind always be at your back. A slightly mangled Irish blessing in honor of St Patrick's Day last week.

Macski- you don't know how appropriate your words are!

My other obsession is playing (mostly Irish) fiddle and was only able to buy this bike because this week was the "Irish musician's full employment holiday" and I earned about half of the cost of this bike with St. Patrick's day (week) gigs. (www.scatterthedust.com, www.cobblestonetucson.com)

Congrats. Just like mine Luv that Blue! And you have sunshine too! We have rain, rain, rain up here in the NW. When the sun does peek out, the roads are still too wet to take Ruby Sue out. Still need the fenders!!!

Yes, I am jealous of your weather!!! Want to ride soooo bad. Take a ride for me if you would please!!!!

Just curious- you have a Jett on your other bike, but you kept the Lithia on your Ruby- are you comfortable on both? I did not like the Lithia at all!

No fenders necessary here- I just don't ride in the rain.

Well, due to the weather, sadly I've only ridden her once! Still riding my Trek with the fenders! Didn't have seat problems, but only 10 miles on the Lithia! I'm guessing I'll probably switch the seats. Hopefully I'll get a chance to ride Ruby Sue tomorrow. The weather looks hopeful
