FS (feeler) - Women's VFF Bikila, size 42

    To disable ads, please log-in.

I have a pair of women's VFF Bikila size 42 in the magenta/orange color scheme that I am possibly looking to sell if there is an interest in them. I've only worn them inside on the treadmill...and it was only a handful of times (maybe 7 or 8 times total). They are in perfect condition. I paid full price for them, which was $99...but will consider all offers. I can post some pics if asked. Anyone interested, please email or PM me. I have no access to this forum at work, so if you PM me it may take me longer to get back to you. Thanks!

Just curious, why are you selling them? My valentine got me a pair of these .... in the white. I do like the orange/magenta color combo, though!

I'm selling because the fit just wasn't quite right for my feet. The pair I have is a 42, which seems a smidge too large...but when I tried on a 41, they seemed too snug. I have goofy hammertoes, so some of my toes don't sit in the pockets very well. I would like to try a different style to see if I have better luck...so I'm considering the new Komodo Sport version that just came out. But bottomline is...the Bikila just didn't work well with my messed up feet.

I really want to try the Bikila's myself (and I too love the pink/orange combo!) but 42 is too big for me. Damn!

Understand. They either work w/your feet or they don't. I'm sorry these ones didn't work out for you---I like them much better than my Sprints and Flows for wearing outside. The little bit of padding makes a huge difference.

I've also posted these over at beginnertriathlete.com and have them listed for $60, shipped to US...so I thought I would update this post to match.

I have a similar problem with mine. I have KSOs, Flows, Sprints, and Classics, and the Bikila hurt the bottom of my toes (like my toes can't move correctly) and the tops of my feet (like they are too tight, even if I don't strap them on). I thought they might be too big of a size, but I can't go down in size because they are too tight across my feet. It's not a matter of breaking them in, I've worn mine probably 10 times for varying distances (road, treadmill, and even on the bike) and it's just not working. I am sad, because I like the feel of them otherwise.

I look forward to the new model with the laces across the top, maybe that'll give me a little more freedom in the fit. I thought maybe a mens 39 would work, too, but they don't make them under a mens 40. My flows are a womens 40 and they work out pretty comfortably, my KSOs a mens 39 and also comfy.

Not to extend a thread that's already done, but if anyone is interested in a womens size 41 pair of white/green Bikila, feel free to PM me. I'm not really actively pursuing a buyer, but I'd be willing to sell them.
