    Iced doggie treats

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for cool doggie treats?

I found http://www.bellaonline.com/articles/art56918.asp this one & will try it out.

What about strawberry ice cubes? I'm about to freeze two buckets of water and thought about adding fun ice cubes in.

Many years ago I went to a "pet parade" in Los Angeles. It was a warm day. A new company was giving away free samples of the doggie equivalent of ice cream. The sudden cold in the dog's stomachs made most of them vomit on the spot. Not a pretty sight! Needless to say, the product was not a smashing success. I would give dogs room-temperature treats--they'll thank you for it!

Our dogs have always loved to crunch ice cubes. Of course, you have to watch out for the drool puddles left on the floor...

Yep. My ex-boyfriend's dog thought the ice machine on the freezer door was a treat machine.

Maybe some sort of frozen pumpkin treat? I think pumpkin is good for them. I think frozen-crunchy treats should be less of a shock to the stomach than chilled goopy foods, as long as they're the type of dog that actually chews its food.
