    fabulous ride

I had a wonderful, first time after six weeks off to deal with previously vented about medical issues, bike ride with my SAG guy yesterday. We rode 43 miles at a comfortable 16 mph and although the new route we tried didn't work out, we were able to ride side by side for about 1/3 of the ride on quiet back roads. The weather was nice and the wind was only about 15 mph, so although it was in our face for a long portion of the ride, it wasn't too exhausting or discouraging.

A bunch of little intercostal muscle twinges on the side that had the surgery for an hour or so after the ride, but other than that, no pain.

I had a good session with the trainer today so maybe I am getting back slowly.
