    SI Turbomatic

I purchased a SI Turbomatic saddle based on the opinions and knowledge I gathered from this site. (You ladies told me more T shaped and less padding when I last posted about my saddle woes.) It is an awesome saddle: well made, rides well, all and all a good female saddle (even if it isn't billed as such). I got it a month ago and took it for a 90 mile ride the day after I got it; my butt was happy even if my sit bones were a little sore. Yesterday I took it out for another long ride and had issues. I had 'hot spots' under my sit bones and I had little sores from my chamois stitching where butt meets my leg. Same shorts both rides, so I'm not sure why things changed. I really want to keep riding this saddle. Any thoughts about what I should change?

Just my opinion...but I would try a different pair of shorts...even if you did wear the same pair on both rides. I sometimes have issues with shorts. For example...today I did a 70 mile ride wearing a pair of Shebeest SSS shorts. I kept having this weird scratching sensation on my girly parts all throughout the ride. I wore the same type of shorts (I have 2 pairs) on a 73 mile ride that I did on Saturday with absolutely NO issues whatsoever. Go figure. I've also been having a LOT of chamois issues with ALL of my PI shorts. Never really had any problems with them, until recently...now they all bother me for some odd reason.

Try a different pair of shorts.
