    To disable ads, please log-in.

Just got an e-mail from Spazz who says to say "Hi to all the TE grrls.* I'll check in soon, I promise. Give them news that I have NOT fallen off the edge of the world."

There, I've given you the news, my work is done here.

::hears sounds in the backround from the new gals "who's Spazz? and what kinda board is this where people call members Spazz?"::

There are days this board scares me: I was just going to post a "Spazz Alert" coz I hadn't seen her nor heard anything about her in a while - and there she be!! If you talk to her again tell her I said "hey and I'm thinking of her"!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Yes, we are a bit like the "Psychic Friends Network" or is that "Psycho Friends Network"?

Soon we'll probably all be on the same menstrual cycle, those of you who still do.

Been thinking about Spazzdog! I often drive by a store with a line of vintage lunch boxes in the windowas thinking that if I was made o' money, I'd send her one loaded with Tastycakes for her first day of school. Hmm, Josie & the Pussycats, WonderWoman, Johnny Quest? Good Luck, Spazz!

The singlespeed could be nicknamed "The Widowmaker".

    About that menstrual cycle

Having not had one since May, feeling PMS 24/7 and holding water like the Hoover dam here, I'd like to request one menstrual cycle. It should have a loud horn, a basket up front full of real Coke, coffee, Snickers and peanuts, a camelback filled with Pino Grigio, and a pannier bag with a change of clothes to include granny panties, big t-shirts and elastic waist band yoga pants.

Menopause. It ain't the pause that refreshes.

Oh p.s., sorry Spazz dear, I meant to start off saying "good to hear that you're OK" because I've been thinking about you starting school and the nerves that brings on, and than I got sidetracked. Let us hear from you when you get a minute!!!

OHMYGAWD! We could be twins! I'm safety-wired to the p*ssed-off position all the time!! They say you aren't truly in menopause until you've gone one full year without a period. Then what happens? You blow up from water retention? Find yourself on a rooftop with a high powered weapon?? Inquiring minds DEMAND AN ANSWER!

<Oh - Hi Spazz! Just ignore us over here...>
