Though I couldn't ride tonight, I did still attend the festivities at the NITE ride (also staffed an information table from work at the event for an hour or so). Here is a couple of photos from the night - I took the overview shot from the top of the Velodrome to get as good a perspective as I could. There was no vantage point from which to get a shot of the entire group of 3,000 cyclists lined up to go forth.
As you can imagine, there were a lot of fun, beautiful, and interesting bikes. Perhaps not all at the same time, or in that order, but there were a couple that I just had to get a shot of. This is a rather creative use of Surly's Big Dummy. Of course, an exciting event just wouldn't be right without Evel Kineval dropping in to make a presence
I've other pictures, but this gives a little taste of the atmosphere. There is also a lighting contest that I had hoped to enter, and those that did went all out! Those shots did not come out well though, sadly.
