Topeak explorer MTX rack, anyone have one?

I'm using my bike more and more for running errands and shopping so I am looking to add a rack to my bike so I don't have to shlepp everything in a back pack! I saw the Topeak rack over on the REI site and really liked the idea of the quicktrack mounting system. Anyone on here have this type of rack? How do you like it? I have a Giant FCR, would this rack fit ok? Any input would be great!

I have one of these and a large handled basket for my hybrid that works great on farmer's market days in the summer. The basket slides on and off so I can bring it with me to the market and then slide it back on and be on my way.

I've had one for a long time. We keep a cantilever on the hybrid, but my Saturday-go-to-market bike has a Topeak rack that mounts with 3 contact points (like your link).

Like ridenread I have a basket attachment for the market that works great. Best investment I made for that bike.

DH uses a rack bag with panniers on his. Needless to say, I get to carry the bigger and bulkier items.

If you have room for the basket attachment, it is more versatile for groceries. I was using bungie cords over the top, but then DH found some Blackburn "nets"--elastic with 4 attachment points. Makes things even more convenient.

I have that rack on my commuter. I have the one with the disc brake mount on my mtb. I have a small and a large trunk, both with panniers. It has been a very reliable and convenient system for me.

I've put this rack on several bikes. The quick mount is great, too. I have a huge trunk for commuting and a very small one for other stuff. I really like the system.

I had an Explorer rack with the spring clip on a previous bike. It's a very solid rack. I now have the Topeak Super Tourist DX with spring on my errand bike. It lets me take off a pannier without having to detach the truck rack first. You can't go wrong with either choice.

Thank you everyone! Ridenread and Thom, I was eyeing that basket too for my grocery shopping, so glad to hear such positive feedback on it. Guess I know what I am going to order!!!!
