    The Most Awesome Ride!

Yesterday was the Crane Cycle Fest. This event will quickly rise to the stature of one of the Best Rides in America!

    Here's why:
    • it's on the world's largest naval installation (yes...that's in INDIANA!)...what that means...I did 65 miles with only TWO CARS!
    • the roads were awesome and in great condition (only two very small potholes)
    • the downhills were terrific (I'm like a rock freefalling on a hill!)
    • the organizing team did an outstanding job with planning and logistics
    • the entrance lined with 702 FLAGS was inspirational

This was the first year, only promoted for about 6 weeks (because Pentagon approval was required), and we had 300 riders raising $35,000 for the Ride2Recovery cause!

This sounds wonderful! Next year I will certainly be there hoping there is a next year? This year it just conflicted with too many other things for me.

Oh what a great location for the ride! Lucky you and great job on raising $35 K for a good cause. I'll bet you are already making plans for next year's ride.
