I did it!!!

I did my first open road ride today with my hubby. I had been sticking to the paved trails until I got the real feel for my bike. I was not real confident, but we road 12.4 miles! There was a steep gradual incline and a small but steep decent. I did it!!!! The incline was horrid! There was a strong head wind the whole time and my legs are now jello, but with the encouraging words and patience of my hubby, who has been riding on a regular basis for over a year, I made it!! I can't wait to to another ride later this week. I feel a ton more comfortable on the road now that I have done a decent ride with an experienced rider.
