    Hello all my cycling friends!

It has been almost 2 years since I had a bad break to my ankle...falling over at a stop light!! During my recovery, the support from all of you was amazing! I never left you guys...read the forums daily!!
Last cycling season I rode a tiny bit but found I was still not strong enough and honestly was still a bit scared to possibly fall again. (my job requires me to be on both feet at 100%)

So this spring I decided enough was enough! My beautiful Ruby came out of the trainer and hit the road yet again. My cardio stinks!! I am winded most of the time, but it feels awesome to be back out!! The miles are increasing and it is rewarding to feel the benifits to my mind and body!
    I LOVE CYCLING!!

I even rode an organized, evening ride and met such great people! What fun!
It is great to be back!!!

Welcome back!! It won't take you long before you are back in the "saddle" again. Your cardio will recover and your legs will remember what they are supposed to do. I know that this was the same for my hubby. He took about a 10 year hiatis from cycling, but it only took about 2 months to get back into cycling shape. After 9 months he is riding with the lead group again.

    Have a great time!
