My trip planning skills need work

I planned to take the train to a rail trail and spend a lovely Saturday in the woods. All my errands got done today except one I forgot -- buying a spare tube. Couldn't find an LBS that opens early enough for me to buy a tube and still make the train tomorrow.

Decided to patch the tube-with-hole that I have lying around. Found the glue in my patch kit was all dried up.

Decided I'd risk doing half the trip without a spare tube and buy one in the small town that is my destination. Called the LBS there to verify they still exist -- and they apparently don't, because their phone number is "not in service."

Looks like it's Central Park for me tomorrow.
