My bike is no longer a virgin

    ...to falls.

Took me 647 miles before I had my first clipless pedal fall with "Oby". Granted, ~450 of those were indoors on the trainer. Got my left foot out and my brakes caught before I was into my lean and I ended up leaning right to land on grass/dirt, rather than asphalt...d'oh! Hope none of the neighbors got that on video...

It's basically a rite of passage, so I wouldn't worry about it...esp as you are (gratefully) ok.

I fell a couple of times years ago on a clunky mountain bike with cheap SPDs. I figured I was in the clear in this biking life. You know what they say about pride going before the fall...in this case it was literal!

the two times I fell with my clipless pedals both were in un public parking lots with lots of other witnesses including other bikers. Siggh...... I believe in laughing at myself first becausse I know eventually everyone else will end up laughing at me as well.

It's just another rite of passage, welcome to the "failure to unclip properly" club aka as the "help, I didn't unclip and know I can't get up "group.

Ha, a friend of mine fell in the middle of a parade with thousands of spectators. *makes a mental note to never ride in a parade*

Welcome to the club, Zoom! I've even seen the pros do it, believe it or not.
