Looking for an errand bike. Is this worth a trip across town? Steel w/chrome Original finish, said to be in good condition. What should I be looking for in a bike like this? I'm just now learning contemporary bike lingo. OBO, said to be original owner of basically same height as me (5'3").

For $80, yes That's about what I paid for my Nishiki Mixte and it really didn't "need" anything when I got it.. but I swapped out the saddle, bars, brake levers, and cables/housings anyways though to get it to where I wanted it.. and it's perfect now

I should also add that parts for these are relatively cheap (especially on ebay.. lots of NOS parts)... so if there is a problem with your shifters, the freewheel, or the derailleurs, or the brakes, they're easy to find replacements for and it wont' break the bank. I will wrench on my Mixte without hesitation even though I'm intimated by my other bikes.
