I've never had that problem but I think you'd be better off using Body Glide.

So, I am training for my first tri. My primary discipline is cycling. I use chamoi butter when I ride.
My question is: do I need to apply that to body parts - specifically nips- before swimming. I swam 3/4 of a mile and it seems the nips were a little sore. My suit is not tight fitting so hmmm....would chamoi butter help?
Thanks!

I'd rather be swimming...biking...running...and eating cheesecake...

1+ on the Body Glide.
Your suit may be a size too large. It should be form fitting. If it's loose you'll get more drag, and rub, on the swim, and will probably chafe on the run, too.
