    Chinky gears

When out riding some of my gears seem to be noisier then others. They make a sort of chink, chink sound and I can't work out why. When I turn the bike upside down to have look I can't work out where it's coming from. Am I just being paranoid about my new bike or do I need to do some of that scary deraillier adjustment type thing?

what type of shifters are you using? Is it the front gears or the back gears?? you could try 1/2 shifting to see if it "seats" the chain better in the gear. it's called "feathering" the gears and it just means you don't shift as hard as you would to change the gears. make sense? (it does in my head but that doesn't always Mean anything!)
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Courage does not always roar. Sometimes, it is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying,
    "I will try again tomorrow".
