    trail DVDs

    Hey there

posted this elsewhere but am impatient for a reply

does anyone know of a trail DVD to watch while on the trainer. There are stacks of roadbiking DVDs but I can't find a mb one.

Sandra bullock was watching one in her movie "the proposal". Maybe I could email her for details

There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of mtb DVDs you can find by just Googling. Most are focused on racing and stunts. Some are skills lessons. I bet your local bike shop has a few you can borrow.

Maybe there are some that are trip-based, but I've never seen one. Frankly, most videos taken from the handlebar or helmet of a mountainbike can be pretty darn boring as the rider can't look up and around or scan the scenery. It's all staring right at the trail and lower speed than a road bike video.

Hey thanks for the quick reply.

I've seen tons of those kind of DVD. I'm looking for exactly what you call boring. (doesn't take much to entertain me). Something like a helmet cam on DVD of something nice and lush and green. Where I can close the curtains to the snow, listen to my favourite music and pretend I'm somewhere warmer.

These are some of the best trail riding videos I've seen, especially in HD. Might have to make a trip to Ft. Bragg!
