Ok, i guess i have lurked long enough. Before anything else i must confess that i am not a lady (female) I hope that does not preclude me from sharing in this wonderful site. I have learned a lot here and enjoy the members sharing and advice especially to newbs like me. It is also very refreshing to see a forum where everyone is gentle, nice and courteouse (no flaming)
I have just started riding a bike the past two months. I got a cannondale mountain bike although i just ride the hills here in jamaica. I dont go off road although our roads may be considered off road by some
I also just started spinning classes which i really enjoy.
Anyhow just wanted to say hi and compliment you all on a great site.

Jamaica, cool! Welcome.
Ah, Jamaica. The thing I remember most about the roads there is all the goats. Very cute and, unfortunately for them, very tasty.
Welcome aboard the board.
"How about if we all just try to follow these very simple rules of the road? Drive like the person ahead on the bike is your son/daughter. Ride like the cars are ambulances carrying your loved ones to the emergency room. This should cover everything, unless you are a complete sociopath."

Random babblings and some stuff to look at.
Welcome to TE! You don't have to be female to be here- you just have to love cycling. Glad you're here!!![]()

Welcome, jarider! Kalidurga--I have an entry in my ride log this year along the lines of "ride cut short because of goats." Around here, they are mostly for cheese. Up north, on the other hand...
Welcome. This is the first biking forum I found where the tone is friendly, the advice is good, and bikers of all ages/abilities/bike types, etc. are welcome. People are able to share their opinions and experiences without bashing someone else. I came for information and stayed for the community.
