Exclamation Hub Recall for American Classic and Ritchey

I know many of you ride the bikes listed in this recall notice (CindySue! Surly!) so here 'tis.

http://www.amclassic.com/tech/pdf/Re...essRelease.pdf

I have Ritchey WCS's on my new hill climbing bike that were affected because of this. Ritchey licensed the design from AM.

Sorry for the bad news.

thanks SK,

I looked. the number I found starts with a WH, not an S. I'm not quite sure if I am looking in the right place. I'll send the info to my LBS to be sure.

Thanks for the heads up, my husband and I are just packing for vacation and I couldn't decide which bike to bring. This news makes the decision a lot easier. Again thanks, Jones

I'm actually kind of glad Yellow postponed her Monitor Pass ride. I could just see me stranded in the middle of the Sierras. I suppose I could swap wheels off my cross bike but they're heavy!!! Ok, less light weight. I'm such a weeny. . .
