The back story: I have a gift certificate for a new pair of Mavic Razor shoes. Thing is, I *just* broke in some new-to-me bike shoes, and much as I'd love another pair, at the moment it would be an indulgence I don't really need. It's getting cold and my numb toes suggest I could use neoprene booties more.
