    A sad story

I've been in hospital from Thursday till Monday evening and I shared a room with an elderly lady. And she told me the story of her son who died this summer.

He was a cycling fanatic and has traveled the world with his bike. This summer he was on a road trip with 8 of his friends in England. They were riding in a national park and at that same time there were some kids racing with a car. Her 46 year old son was sadly at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Last week she received a letter from the local brittish police saying that the driver who killed her son, was also killed. Riding his bike, taken by a car.

What a weird twist of fate.

    Wow. Just wow.

Hope you're recovering from whatever had you in the hospital.

    I agree, Karma.

But I also find it strange that the police would contact her to tell her what happened.

    That is tragic.

I hope you are feeling better.

IFjane, there may have been charges pending against the driver who killed the woman's son; if so, it makes sense for the police to contact her about the driver's death.
