    Hi just checking in!

It's been a couple of months since I have checked in after my bicycle crash on Sept 1. I have missed cycling so much these past few weeks! I broke my tib/fib in 3 places and have a severe high ankle sprain. Had surgery--anchored stuff with some sort of fiber wire (no screws to break). My cast came off yesterday, and now have the whole Frankenstein--looking boot. PT starts on Mon. The orthopedist says to do only recumbent biking for the next several weeks. I hope by Thanksgiving I can get my bike on a trainer, and get used to everything again.

I hope everyone has had a great fall so far. I'm so looking foward to spring and being back on the road!

Wishing you lots of improvement over time, skinimini. You will become stronger again and take an easy. Don't be too hard on yourself.
