ooooo.. I finally sprung for one!

A Selle-Anatomica Saddle! I've been drooling over these for months. Trouble is they cost more than a good quality used bike..lol.. but I finally pulled the trigger this morning and placed an order for a Black Titanico LD non-clydesdale version. I was able to test out a clydesdale model on my Rawland in a parking lot, and I didn't want to give it back! lol.. I begged the store to sell it to me but they wouldn't as it's supposed to be the stock saddle sold on the new Cannondale Aluminum touring bikes.

I've been through so many saddles that my LBS guys joke "what have ya got on the bike today?" on every group ride. (cause it's different every week!) The 75 mile ride around Lake Pepin was a 2-saddle affair. The first 30 miles on a Terry Butterfly Ti - good for the girly bits, bad for the butt bones. And the last 45 miles on a Brooks Imperial "S" - much much better than the Terry, but the back corner rivits rub my butt cheeks raw. Maybe the saddle is too wide?

Anyway maybe this will be my holy grail and I can finally enjoy the ride without pain? ooh... yeah I forgot to mention ... I ride all distances without padded shorts or padding of any kind ... so if this saddle works.. I'll be singing it praises...

Pics to come once the saddle arrives..

    Yay! I can hardly wait
