    Just for fun: Dream Bike

I just turned 45 and my 16 year old daughter was joking that I'm due for a mid-life crisis. Then she said, "Knowing you, you'd get a really cool bike instead of a hot car." So I started thinking about what bike I would get if money were no object.

So, what would your dream bike be? I'm still dreaming and need ideas.

I recently got my dream bike -- a Colnago Master X-light. A lightweight steel beauty!

Custom fitted Waterford RS-33 with Campy Chorus painted mid-life crisis magenta....oh wait, I have one of those

Lovely machine. Worth every penny. Nothing like a custom fit go-fast bike even if you don't go fast to bring out the kid in you.

Best present I ever bought myself....well, except maybe for its little sister, a RS-14 Waterford with S&S couplers--pure decadence to have a nice fitting bike while on vacation. Guess mid-life crisis hit twice

    Me, too!

Custom Spectrum Super Ti a couple years ago.

Last year was a custom powdercoated Titus Motolite to match the pink rims I scored on ebay a couple years back.

My garage is filled with wonderful bikes. Now, if I could just get hubby to get his Co-motion built so I could get my Soma on the stand and built.

My dream bike would be an Indy Fab Club Racer in Ti with S&S couplers. I can dream, right?

SK - Which Soma? My DH is still pondering a double cross or a Smoothie ES (or maybe a Speedster/Stanyan).

I've got a few I'd like to have:

    Calfee Custom Bamboo

    Serotta Custom Meivici

    Vanilla Custom Steel

And of course Custom Ti to round out the materials (not sure on the builder for that though ).

    AND THEN there's the non-roadies:

Waltworks Custom Steel Mountain (yes, I'd probably go single and rigid or I might have him make me a cross bike)

And then there's the ones I own:

Wilier Izoard (not mine in image)

I would have to go with a custom Seven Diamas; all carbon and chock full of high end components.

    Custom painted, of course.
