My passion to chase cars – A self introduction

Allow me to introduce myself; I got hooked in bicycling when I was in college since I couldn’t afford a car at the time. Now, even when I can pay for a rather nice car, I still opted to buy a Cannondale Synapse Feminine Carbon 3, with Shimano Ultegra SL Compact, 34/50 crank and a Shimano Ultegra 12-27 rear cog.

I met my other half, Yin when we were roommates in college and now we have a consultancy in assets management. Though we have many similar likings, bicycling isn’t one of them. So whenever we have an outing, she would drive and I would ride my bike. I realise that this might sound a bit of a madness, as I actually try to keep up with her cars, she owns a Toyota Camry Hybrid and a Volvo C30 coupe. So, now you know why I am named as “Mad Kate”.

While I doubt that I would ever manage to beat her on an open road, it is the process of trying that makes it worthwhile.
