well, we left at 6:00AM and headed out... I completed the ride with a very minor knee soreness!!! Waaaaaay better than the knee had been... there was an 8 mile climb... not too steep but definitely a climb and even that didn't mess me up! FINALLY! I think I'm back... Have 2 more centuries already signed up for this year... one in August and another in Sept... this renewed my faith that my body isn't gonna fail me after all!

Excellent news BC! Good to hear the knee is getting better!!
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming: "Yeah Baby! What a Ride!"

Awesome job BC (jennifer, right?)! I can't even imagine completing a century right now so I'm in awe of you ladies that can.

MRI on Thursday here.....I had one good day yesterday so I tried to pedal. Probably not the smartest thing I've done lately......

mtbdarby... LOL I know all about that too! I was specifically told to stay off the bike which I interpreted to mean ride as long as it doesn't hurt... I never was very good at following directions...

centuries are like anything else... anyone can do one, ya just gotta be willing to put in saddle time... my very first ride was only 10 miles and I layed on my couch for 3 hours afterward trying to recover... I was sure the Grim Reaper was outside and that death was imminent... yep, I've come a long way baby!

how quickly will you get the results of the MRI? Dang... I sure hope it turns out to be something that Aleve and a bit of time will help and nothing more... hang in there and please keep us posted... OH! and yes, it's Jennifer...
