By the eyeroll I think you know this, but she does realize that her asking price is only $200 off MSRP?
2010 bikes will start rolling out next month for many brands and that means I could easily walk out of a dealer with a brand new one for less than that.
Plus hers will come with no warranty, no dealer support, etc. Bikes are like cars, you can kiss 30% or so goodbye the second you roll them out of the shop, ridden or not.

Really low miles, probably less than 30 or so. Stored inside. I'd buy it off of her, because I was looking at the same one, but I don't think it fits me right.

I told her that. I think she's willing to go as low as $1000, though. She doesn't know too much about bikes.
