Looking for a metric in July within 3-4 hours driving of St. Louis. Can't make the 5 century series--Firecracker 100.

Can't help with July, but the Pumpkin Metric in Evansville in the fall is a well organized ride...

Does Mike Bentley's site go far enough south for you? His site is usually my first look. Gives me ideas to research.

We'll make an event for you... One of our metric routes starts on the north side of Evansville and goes through Haubstadt, Poseyville, charming New Harmonie and then back

we do this regularly, we'd likely have friends, plenty of c-stores for SAG, and you can stay with us...

Thorn, that was perfect. That show's Illinois rides, just across the river.

Mr. Silver, how generous! I'll try to plan a road trip sometime

I know they held one in Kansas City, MO this past fall. I'll try and find out what it was from a friend who rode it. He rode it on his 20+year old Trek. He said he almost had the oldest bike there, but one guy beat him by like 5 years. Maybe you can catch this ride in 2010. Again, I'll do my best to find out for you.
