PA Turnpike trail

A section of the PA Turnpike used as a bike trail. I remember those tunnels from childhood trips to Ohio.

My son and I rode this trail about 4 years ago. We had a grand time.

The road surface is a little rough in places, there has been no maintenance on it in years. Some debris has fallen onto the road inside the tunnels also. None of it gave our mountain bikes any trouble.

Those 2 tunnels are DARK. We had LED lights that barely lit the edge of the tunnel so we could aim ourselves in the right direction.
