It is now three days post triathlon and things are going great!! http://www.kvue.com/perl/common/slid...29&nextimage=0
Images 7, 10 and 12 are of our survivor wave.
#14 is out special designation transition area
#17 is my friend, coworker and survivor Hannah
#24 Some of our group at the finish
# 26 is Me finishing! Iam the one with team survivor on my shirt. I was getting tired the last couple miles of the walk/run and the other two ladies I finished with walked with me. At about 1 mile left it was a very steep hill and I told the other two ladies I needed to slow and thanks for walking with me. They both slowed to my pace and made sure I came in with them. I really touched me that they would do that for me.
# 34 - my daughter Naomi (the one with the crutch) marking another fellow survivor.

Thanks for sharing, and congratulations again! Looks like you had a fabulous day + some wonderful support!
Aweseome! You look so happy!!!
yes .... just to FINISH!!!
14 months ago I was still working 27 hours a week because the fatigue from chemo (26 months worth) was so bad I just could not do anymore. I still have handicap plates because some days my legs feel so bad I can harldy walk.... who would have thought I would have finished a triathlon....just 14 months later

WOW! What a positive looking event! I particularly loved seeing all shapes and sized competing. At events here I often am the biggest girl out there..
And good on you for staying the course and realizing a dream- cancer be damned!
