Recently learned about the chain condom, which is a chain cover to protect your car and other things from grease and dirt while you're transporting your bike and other times when you're not riding it. Looks like it could come in handy.

The guy who designed it is Lance's training buddy, so it's also available from Mellow Johnny's web site. I think the plan is to have them available through other bike shops, too -- I emailed my LBS manager to see if his store plans to carry it so I can buy it locally.

Hmmm, it looks interesting, but I'm thinking more along the lines of protecting the chain from other things that protecting other things from the chain, LOL!
